What does a Personal Trainer do?

 

A personal trainer is someone who encourages  & motivates you to work hard and helps you achieve your fitness goals. I believe in hard but fun workouts and I educate my clients on the best exercises to perform at the right intensities to achieve maximum results. I believe that fitness is a vital part of a healthy lifestyle and it is guaranteed to improve your quality of life. My main aim is to train clients with an honest, positive attitude and a high standard of fitness knowledge combined with sound nutritional and weight management advice. I want you to feel and look the best that you possibly can and by working together, we will achieve your goal. 

 

I can train with you in your own home, garden or a local park. I have a range of equipment that I can bring to you to ensure you get a comprehensive and challenging workout without the need to go to a gym. This is especially of benefit to you if you have very young children at home as you will not need to pay the added cost of childcare.  If you would prefer to train with me in a gym I have access to gym facilities at Lifeline Fitness, Oxted.  

 

My current favourite pieces of training kit include: Bosu, Swiss Ball, Battling Ropes,Kettlebells, ViPR, TRX, Powerbags, Medicine Balls, Sparring Gloves and Pads and Dynabands... with more equipment added to my collection all the time.

 

Each training session is based around the following elements: Flexibility and Stretch, Cardiovascular, Reactive and Resistance work and Core & Balance work. The amount of time dedicated to each component will depend on your personal training programme.

60 MINUTE SESSIONS 

 

PAY AS YOU GO                   - £50.00 PER HOUR 

 

5 X 1 HOUR SESSIONS        - £235.00 (£47.00 PER HOUR)

 

10 X 1 HOUR SESSIONS     - £450.00 (£45.00 PER HOUR)

 

 

45 MINUTE SESSIONS 

 

PAY AS YOU GO                        - £40.00  (45 MINUTES)

 

5 X 45 MINUTE SESSIONS       - £185.00 (£37 PER SESSION)

 

10 X 45 MINUTE SESSIONS     - £350.00 (£35 PER SESSION)

 

 

30 MINUTE SESSIONS

 

PAY AS YOU GO                         - £35.00 (30 MINUTES)

 

10 X 30 MINUTE SESSIONS      - £275.00 (£27.50 PER SESSION)

 

 

THE FOUR PACK

 

A one off package- ideal as a gift for friends or family or as a treat to yourself. This package comprises 4 personal training

sessions that can be taken whenever you choose, either intensively or more spread out. These could be used to introduce

you to the benefits of personal training, build up your motivation to restart an exercise programme or perhaps refocus

you and complement an existing training schedule. 

 

Total package price £160.00 (£40.00 PER HOUR)

 

 

GROUP TRAINING

 

If you would prefer to train with a friend, partner or a small group of friends, you could consider a group training package:

 

PAY AS YOU GO             - £60.00 (60 MINUTE SESSION)

 

10 x 1 HOUR SESSIONS-  £500.00 (£50.00 PER HOUR)

 

 

NEW! ONLINE PERSONAL TRAINING 

 

I am now able to offer online personal training packages. Following an initial consultation I will draw up a weekly training programme for you and your progress is tracked and monitored online. You simply download an app to your phone, follow the workouts in the gym and check-in to confirm you have completed the session. All workouts have full instructional videos for each exercise & clear instructions as to how many reps to perform, how much time to perform each exercise, rest etc. 

 

This is ideal for people who need more motivation than a basic gym programme can provide and who want the accountability and encouragement of a personal trainer but who perhaps don't want to pay an hourly rate to have a trainer with them during the session. The charge for this is monthly & will vary according to the number of sessions you wish to complete in a week. Starting from £45 a month for 3 planned sessions.
