I enjoyed taking part in sports at school and competed for my schools in football, netball, rounders & swimming. I also played badminton at County level for several years. More recently I have become a keen snowboarder and runner and I participate in several half and full-marathons a year and I ran the inaugural Brighton Marathon in 2010 (3:46). Since then I have completed the Greater Manchester Marathon in 2012 (3:27) and the London Marathon in 2013 & 2014 (3:31 both times!) as well as several local marathons, half-marathons, 10k's, duathlons & 1 triathlon. I also qualified for and completed the 2015 Boston Marathon (3:33) in what can only be described as hideous conditions! My current tally stands at 12 marathons and 1 'Ultra' (35 miles). I currently participate in the Surrey Cross-country League as a member of Holland Sports AC.

 

My interest in the gym and fitness began when I was about 17 and I have been hooked ever since! I have worked as a personal trainer since 2006, both as freelance trainer and in gyms. I have helped clients to build and tone muscle, lose fat and improve fitness levels as well as taking an active interest in their diet and changes that can be incorporated to complement their training. I develop my own knowledge as much I can by attending regular courses and workshops and I enjoy enhancing my clients' workouts with new training methods and techniques.
